On behalf of our client, Shell Argentina, we are looking for a Reservoir Project Leader.
This position reports to the NOV Manager and provides Petroleum Engineering support to Argentina’s NOV Assets (Bandurria Sur, Rincon La Ceniza, La Escolanda, Acambuco). It involves close collaboration with Technical Team members and interface with Wells, Completions, Operations, Midstream, Land, and Commercial functions, while playing a key role in JV and stakeholder engagement.
Accountabilities

Execute surveillance plans to support production optimization and CVA de-risking.

Lead the E2E maturation process for unconventional horizontal wells with multi-stage completions.

Propose well interventions and contribute to post-well reviews to improve performance and HSSE.

Provide technical input for business cycles: forecasting, reserves certification, and development planning.

Influence JV partners to adopt Shell's methodologies (e.g., testing layouts, stimulation design, data acquisition).

Support pad design, artificial lift strategy, and well performance evaluation with internal and external teams.

Coordinate stakeholder reviews (ITRs) and guide basin-level data analytics and modeling efforts.

Mentor junior engineers in DFIT, PTA, RTA, and production forecasting.

Represent Shell in technical forums and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
Requisitos

13+ years of Reservoir Engineering experience, with at least 5 years in unconventional resources.

Proficiency in well performance tools (DCA, RTA), type curve development, and production forecasting.

Experience in interference testing, pressure prediction (DFIT), and dynamic/economic modeling.

Knowledge of tools such as Prosper, PVTsim, POST, and familiarity with fracture modeling and Enersight (desirable).

Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills across multidisciplinary teams and JV settings.

English fluency required.
